What we collect
When you place an order
Name, billing and shipping address, email address, telephone number, order contents, and the record of your confirmation that you are 21 or older and purchasing for research use.
We do not store card numbers. Payment details are handled by the payment provider shown at checkout and never reach our servers.
When you create an account
Your email address, a username, a password stored only as a cryptographic hash, and your order history.
When you contact us
Your name, email address and the content of your message, retained so we can answer and keep a record of the exchange.
Automatically
Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, timestamps) and cookies necessary for the shopping cart and login session to work.
Why we use it
- To process, dispatch and support your order — without this we cannot supply you.
- To maintain your account, if you create one.
- To meet legal and record-keeping obligations, including the age and research-use confirmation given at checkout.
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To answer your enquiries.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Who we share it with
Only where it is necessary to run the business:
- Hosting provider — the website and its database are hosted on managed infrastructure.
- Payment provider — to take and verify payment.
- Shipping carriers — name and delivery address, to deliver your order.
- Professional advisers and authorities — where we are legally required to disclose.
Cookies
We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the cart, the checkout and the login session. Blocking them will prevent the store from functioning. If we later add analytics or marketing cookies, this policy will be updated and consent requested before they are set.
How long we keep it
Order records are retained as long as required for tax, accounting and product-traceability purposes. Account data is retained until you ask us to delete the account. Enquiry emails are retained while relevant to an ongoing matter.
Security
The site is served over TLS, passwords are hashed, and administrative access is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures proportionate to the data we hold.
Your rights
You may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete information we no longer need to keep;
- provide a copy of your data in a portable format.
Residents of California have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, to delete, to correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. Exercising any right will never result in worse treatment or pricing.

Children
This website is not directed at anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
